When I began this project, it was because I wanted to deepen my skills outside of my 9-5 job. Now, it's a machine for me to post my outfits and become a full-time creator.

I started off by mimicking future technology from my favorite Y2K-era movie: Clueless. Cher's fictional closet utilized early app and web design concepts to map clothes in her closet to her body. Although fictional, it was peak fashion technology. I knew that by starting with this project, I could master the basics of building repeatable components, creating a design system, and mastering prototype interaction — which, with Adobe XD, I was already familiar with.

I became addicted to this concept, and so did many others online. I grew a large chunk of my now near-1K following because I scratched the brain of so many. Since the Clueless inspiration, I've taken steps to make the app design my own, merging motion graphics software with the wireframes by green-screening and layering.
